Life-In-Death is a second Semester Project that I made with Catriona Barclay , Lenny Jox and Geumseong Han It is based upon a poem Catriona knew. In the game you play as plundering Pirates who have been caught by a Skeleton Pirate Captain ,who gambled your soul away from death. In the game you explore the ship and try to escape from it. In your escape attempts you get to sneak arround and not get caught by the Skeleton Pirates as well as learn more about the ship and talk with your crewmates.

The Team was made up of people with a very general skillsets. So for the things I did in the end product I just kinda worked on my own things and implemented them. I made and implemented all the candlefires as well as figured out how to code them so that they always look at the Player Charackter. This Method however did not work for the candle that could be carried arround so I made a special solution for that one. I also implemented and created the User Interface effects (this does not include the Dialouge boxes). For something that isnt visible in the game I also did the greyboxing of the game since we had the Process of how we wanted the Narrative of the Game to go written down but not visualised in the game.
